Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for sessions and make payment?


All attendees must register for desired day & time via our website. All payments must be made prior to class or session using a credit card or paypal via our website.

We apologize that at this point in time multiple sessions can not be booked & processed at the same time on our website. Please pay for each session on our website separately or purchase a plan for life coaching programs.




Do you accept walk-ins?


No, all appointments and sign-ups must be made in advance via our website. Please note that all sessions are now held virtually.




How far in advance do I need to book a session?


All sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.




What is your cancellation policy?


All cancellations with refund must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If cancelling 24 hours in advance of your booked time, you will receive MyndTreat credit to be used within two weeks. All cancellations made without 24 hours notice will be charged in full.




What is considered an “experienced” meditator for the group sessions?


If you have been meditating regularly for at least a month and can sit without any guidance for at least 20 minutes to meditate, please join us for group sessions. For new meditators or meditators who have not practiced in a while, we highly recommend registering for our 2 day MyndMeditation training.




Can I still attend if I am late to a group session?


Please plan on arriving about 5 minutes prior to session time to login to Zoom and get settled. If you enter session after meditation has begun, please ensure that you are on mute. Most meditations will conclude 30min after start of session.




What do I wear to sessions?


Come as you are…work clothes, gym clothes, even pajamas. The great thing about MyndMeditation is that it can be practiced anywhere sitting in any position as long as you are comfortable.




Do I need a silent environment to meditate?


No, with MyndMeditation we will guide you to accept any sounds as part of your meditation practice.




Do I have to clear my mind to meditate?


A common misconception is that we should not have any thoughts during meditation. Don’t worry if you have a busy mind, you can meditate!




What is MyndMeditation training?


All meditation styles are not created equal. Receive a customized approach in learning meditation. By incorporating stress reduction, positive psychology, mindfulness meditation, and mantra meditation you will be given instruction in what works for your lifestyle and goal. Each training consists of meeting virtually for 60 - 90 minutes for two consecutive days followed by one month of complimentary check-ins via text or Zoom (frequency will be determined by coach & client). MyndMeditation only uses techniques which have science-based evidence of success.

Please register via our website and select two consecutive days & times and submit payment. We apologize that our website requires you to process each of the two days separately.




How do I know if I’m ready for MyndMeditation training?


Are you ready to commit to making meditation part of your daily routine? Anyone can learn to meditate, but making it a daily practice is important.

Although we love the convenience and flexibility of meditation apps, there is no substitute for learning from a teacher who can answer your personal questions. Everyone’s experience with meditation is different and understanding it, is key to successfully continuing your long term meditation practice. Many people who learn meditation from an app or book are unable to maintain consistency in their practice.




Where can I find the Zoom link for joining complimentary meditation group sessions?


Please like us on Facebook @myndtreat. All current information regarding free meditations groups such as the Zoom links, days & timings will be posted there. To ensure there is no change in schedule, check our Facebook page prior to joining session that day. Any cancellations or changes will be posted first on Facebook.




I am interested in Life Coaching, can I register for a single MyndRelease session?


Life coaching is a transformative process which takes time & energy. We only offer life coaching packages in increments of 2 months & 6 months. MyndRelease single sessions can be booked by clients who have already completed a MyLife Coaching program or MyndMeditation and are looking for mindfulness mentoring.




What is the difference between coaching & therapy or mentoring?


A life coach does not give advice. They ask a series of questions to help you uncover the answers you have within to help you move forward toward goals & well-being. While therapy may involve dealing with a specific issue or diagnosis or dealing with the past, coaching focuses a bit on the past but more on the present and future. Anyone can benefit from coaching. A mentor may give advice and inspire in a particular area of life. A coach can help you harmonize multiple areas of your life. In coaching, we co-create action steps that you can consistently take towards your big goal(s) by building habits, pushing through your comfort zone, and keeping accountability all while reflecting with a balanced approach so that you can ultimately achieve competence mastery and apply what you have learned during your journey to other areas of life with consistency and well-being. However, it is imperative for us to first build awareness. We use mindfulness techniques to facilitate the process once we have established through auditing where you feel you are currently in life and where you want to be.
